The new Blackberry Curve 8900 is a smart mobile phone (Previously known as Blackberry Javelin) which provides a better display resolution. This sophisticated handset comes with slim build including multiple hi-tech technologies and features. The technical specification comprises of 109 x 60 x 13.5 mm in dimension and weight of 110 gms. The mobile offers GPS satellite navigation technology along with Blackberry Maps through which you can easily find the route of any unknown destination, you can also find any places of interest while on the move and it becomes a Sat-Nav like system.
The device is equipped with Wi-Fi technology for providing fast, wireless internet connection. User of the handset can easily access internet, email account and connect with wide arrays of compatible device. Other connectivity options incorporated with the device are Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots) of GPRS, HSCSD, Class 10 of EDGE technology, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g of WLAN. To transfer data wirelessly or wired the gadget has options of Bluetooth (v2.0 with A2DP) and microUSB respectively.
The handset of Blackberry Curve 8900 has a camera of 3.2 mega pixels with resolution of 2048 X 1536 pixels. To improve the quality of the images camera comes with additional attachments like autofocus, LED flash. The smart handset also support Geo-tagging and image stabilization. You can easily capture videos also through its camera.
You will never feel bore in your spare time as it has a standard media and video player that is able to play audio format like MP3, AAC, AAC+, and WMA and video formats like DivX, XviD, MP4 and WMV. The Curve 8900 of Blackberry has a standard Li-Ion mAh battery; which once fully charged can stand up to 356 hours or offer you a talk time of 5 hours 30 minutes. This Blackberry Curve 8900 has been initially released with O2 network in the UK, and is expected to come up with Orange and T-Mobile in near future.
