The HTC Dream is a really stylish HTC mobile phone. It measures 117.7 mm x 55.7 mm x 17.1 mm and weighs 158 grams, so appealing standard size for a smart phone of this nature. The screen is a good large 3.2 inches making it very easy to view pictures, web pages and read email. Slide the screen over and there is a full QWERTY keyboard. Another very popular feature of the phone is its Android operating system and Qualcomm processor which complements the handset completely.
There is a built-in music player on the phone. It comes with an EXTUSB jack and it is attuned to mini USB. Because of this special feature, there is no need of any headphone jack The Internal memory is 192 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, so there is lots of space for songs; however this can be increased further using a MicroSD card. There is a 3 mega pixel camera on the HTC Dream, including auto focus. Picture quality is really good. Video feature of this handset, it works on the 3GPP, MPEG4, H.264, and 3GP file formats.
There are some standard applications such as a calendar, calculator and a personal organiser. Phone have includes a GPS navigation that works with Google Maps, there is Instant messenger, as well as a document viewer (pdf, power point, excel and word). Internet connection is very fast and absolutely excellent with GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WiFI. Users will be able to connect to fast internet almost anywhere.
This 3G handset works upon a quad band network enabling the user to enjoy all possible networks everywhere in the world. Apart from this there is a Google map facility for navigation purposes and a HTML browser to surf net from anywhere from the world. Some other features like voice memo, digital compass, trackball, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and so on. HTC Dream has powerful battery back up which provide 406 h of stand by time and 5h 20 of talk time.
