The HTC Magic is an Android powered mobile phone. This mobile phone runs all main Google applications in a flawless manner because of the Android Operating system. This phone has handy dimensions of 117.7 x 55 x 13.7 mm. It is extremely light weight at 118.5 grams. There is a noticeable 3.2 inches wide TFT capacitive touch screen on the face of the phone. The touch screen supports 65K colors and has a high resolution of 320X480 pixels in addition with has an accelerometer for enabling auto rotation. The phone has a track ball for scrolling menus in addition to the touch sensitivity of the screen.

This device runs on the Android operating system. The interface uses the new cupcake version of Android. Being an Android phone it has easy access to all Google applications like Google Maps, Gmail, Google Search and You Tube. It can mark messages in Gmail, and allocate them to a label or delete them if required. HTC Magic has a 3.15 Mega pixel camera with a high resolution of 2048x1536 pixels for taking quality photographs. The camera's auto focus feature also enhances picture quality. The camera is also able to support video calling.

This gadget is equipped with HSCSD, EDGE, 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi technologies for the mobile internet experience. The browser of the phone supports HTML technology for enjoyable browsing. This Android web browser is built on a web kit as well as there is a plus and minus zoom icon for zooming in and out of web pages. IT has an MP3 player which users can use to listen to their favorite tracks. The phone allows download of polyphonic and WAV ring tones. The phone has Bluetooth connectivity to provide headset support only.

The HTC Magic is packed with 512 MB ROM and a 192MB RAM. Memory can be further increase up to 16GB using the micro SD memory card slot. The HTC Magic has a GPRS facility with Google Maps. This feature along with a digital compass aids with new street view feature has been added to Google Maps and also has USB ports. that promote connectivity with other devices. It is powered a stand by time of up to 420 hours and a talk time of 7 hours 30 minutes.
