The phone also presents an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, thus it allows users to be able to view their screen in wide screen mode, either horizontally or vertically.

This Sony Ericsson phone also has a phonebook that can store up to two thousand entries with photo call features and in the call records users can store up to thirty entries for each dialed, received and missed calls. Sony Ericsson G705 has internal memory of 120 megabytes and can be further increase the phone's memory capacity to up to eight gigabytes by the expandable memory card slot. Phone has web browser where users would be able to be connected to the internet. Because of the handset WLAN Wi-Fi capability, users can also surf the internet anytime.

Apart from all of that this handset also comes with EDGE technology wherein with the help of this technology users can transfer their data by a great speed and easily.
